It isn’t easy to maintain perspective when seeing peoples’ perfect lives on the internet. Whether you are looking at their beautiful planners, their perfect homes, or their success in budgeting, there always seems to be opportunity to feel like you aren’t enough.
In today’s episode I am chatting with my friend Jen DuFore, otherwise known as @jen_plans – she is the lead admin of We Love EC on Facebook, as well as running a successful budgeting group. We take a look at what isn’t in frame in a picture or video, and how the mess is always lurking right around the corner. We also talk about competition, about how to avoid buying all the things because someone tells you to, and how we both came to realize that what you see on the internet isn’t always what you think it is.
