Happy New Year my friends! For January (my birthday month) I’m choosing a couple of topics for the LLLEDD and Rando Doodles challenges that were big for me at certain ages of my life.

For the lettering challenge, we are doing RENT! I was 16 when RENT first premiered and I was hooked. I’ve seen it three times on stage, once on Broadway, and I would say it is my favorite musical of all time. (Plus, RENT Live is happening at the end of the month on Fox. I have some mixed feelings about it, to be sure. haha)

For the doodles we are doing three of my favorite Don Bluth movies – The Land Before Time, The Secret of NIMH and An American Tail. I’m an 80s baby – these movies were HUGE in my household when I was a kid!
