Hakuna matata! I could NOT let this month go by without doing a Lion King challenge.

Here’s a quick story: I was a freshman in high school when The Lion King came out, and I was very much in the “I’m too cool for this” school when it came to new Disney movies. Well, my friend was OBSESSED with the music and would play it on a little cassette player when we’d walk to school each morning. Yes, a cassette player. I finally got around to going to see it after being shamed into it by my friends – I went by myself during a matinee on a Saturday where you only had to pay a couple of bucks. There I was, surrounded by a shit ton of little kids who’d all probably seen it already, sobbing like a BABY when Mufasa dies. My too cool 14 year old self.

So, if it isn’t already clear, I am so stoked for the new movie… I loved how the new Jungle Book came out and am stoked to see this one. I mixed the two challenges again, because quite frankly I’m running low on steam trying to stay on top of my life right now. haha This is a mix of named characters, places, animals and other things… interpret them for the doodles how you want!

Letter them, doodle them or do both! Use the hashtags #llleverydamnday and #randodoodles if you share on social media! I tried to choose those that won’t be a pain in the ass to try doodling, so don’t be scared to try.
